It struck Vax'ildan as similarly quirky that Phryne had left her door open wide for him, when he found her room some short while later. He stood just beyond her doorway as dark and uncannily silent as a shadow while she read, taking in her chic appearance and then the contrast of the loosely assembled room. He then turned his attention back to her with the first of a smile at his lips.
"My Honorable Lady Fisher," Vax gave his best (which was also his worst) impression of Percy enjoying his formalities, making a nevertheless graceful courtly bow. "Vax'ildan of Exandria, at your service."
